The shopping has begun…for most of us the best and worst of Christmas revolves around buying and receiving gifts. And there is nothing wrong with that in and of itself. But it does seem that this good intentioned practice now overshadows the “reason for the season.” So while I am not ready to give up giving presents just yet, I do think it is worth our time as Christians to reconsider how we celebrate Christmas.
